How much sand and water do you need to properly mix a batch of concrete for repairing a wall?
Q. The port through which my AC unit goes the wall was damaged a bit when the people installing my AC unit tried to fit it through a smaller port. I would like to try to repair it myself.

A. If you have the material on hand it would take one part type S Portland cement too three parts sand,but for a small job you should probably use a premix,these can be purchased in a smaller quantity and easier to transport they are in bags or 10 to 25 lbs.When adding water do a little at a time until mixture is workable and consistent so when you pull your trowel through the mixture and leave some on it won't fall off in clumps or run off like liquid.
